For the first couple of years, we enjoyed staying at one of the resorts on Ka'anapali Beach. Lately, as we contemplate a longer and more permanent stay, we've decided to find out what it would be like to really live on the island. Hence, we have since come to love renting a condo. In our own place, we get to meet more of the locals, cook when we want to (many of the complexes have community grills), go out when we want to, and sleep in without the interruption of the housekeeping schedule or noise in the hall.
