This afternoon Whale Watching charter is aboard a fabulous sailing catamaran measuring 65 feet from stem to stern, and 36 feet from port to starboard. There is plenty of deck space and multiple trampolines (hammock-like lounge areas), as well as a spacious covered cabin providing plenty of shade, 10 tables and two over-sized bathrooms for everyone's comfort. The trip includes beer, wine, soda, juice, filtered water and snacks. Enough about the boat - let's talk WHALES!
The humback whales are fascinating mammals, returning to Maui every year to give birth and find a mate. The trained crew will provide an overview and then answer all your questions about these amazing creatures who are truly Maui's most consistent return visitors! Don't forget your camera - photo ops abound!
The charter runs seven days a week from the Ma'alea Harbor throughout whale season - normally mid-December to mid-April, with the peak of the season in February.
Check-in is at 1:30 p.m. with boarding at 2:00 p.m. The return is approximately 4:00 p.m.
